Sedona, Arizona is a small town but is fairly spread out with unique neighborhoods along Scenic Route 89A and the Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179), two of the most scenic drives in America! Uptown Sedona

Backdropped by dramatic red rock views, Uptown Sedona is the heart of the City and the best neighborhood to experience the true spirit of Sedona. While Uptown is the main tourist hub and maybe a little more crowded than the outer-lying neighborhoods, you're conveniently and centrally located within walking distance to quaint cobblestone walkways lined with art galleries, diverse shopping, enticing restaurants, sidewalk cafes, themed pubs and late night bars. Uptown is a safe and easy-to-walk neighborhood with plenty of tourist shuttle buses and adventure tour agencies ready to show you the best of Sedona. West Sedona

Located in close proximity to State Route 89A, staying in West Sedona offers easy access to endless recreational activities, local landmarks, and Sedona's top attractions. Village of Oak Creek

Nestled at the base of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte, the Village of Oak Creek — fondly referred to by locals as "The Village" — is one of Sedona's most popular neighborhoods. Set away from the crowds, only 5 miles south of Uptown on the Red Rock Scenic Byway (Hwy 179), the Village of Oak Creek is a laid-back community with three golf courses, resort hotels, excellent restaurants, coffee bistros, local shops, outlet stores, and exceptional hiking and world-famous Sedona vortexes on your doorstep. The streets are pedestrian-friendly with roundabouts and sidewalks along the Scenic Byway and rugged red rock vistas at every turn. Top trails include Bell Rock Trail and Vortex, Courthouse Butte Loop Trail, and Jacks Canyon Trailhead.

Oak Creek Canyon

Oak Creek Canyon is world-famous for its breathtaking natural scenery! Dead Horse Ranch State Park Dead Horse Ranch State Park features two day use areas with ramadas for BBQs and picnics, a playground and small zipline for the kids, a launch ramp and dock for kayaking and canoeing, three stocked fishing lagoons, and over 20 miles of mixed-use trails for hiking, biking and horseriding. It is a haven for nature lovers with beautiful birdlife and wildlife viewing. Perhaps the best way to experience Dead Horse State Park is on a guided wrangler tour of the trails. The park is only a short drive from the historic pueblo dwellings and traditional Sinagua artifacts at the Tuzigoot National Monument and Museum.
