Getting To Sedona Arizona
DRIVING TO SEDONA
From Flagstaff: The most scenic route is taking Highway 89A south from Flagstaff. It is about a 28 mile drive through the very scenic Oak Creek Canyon. Be sure to stop at Oak Creek Canyon Vista Point before descending down the canyon.
From Las Vegas: The driving distance from Las Vegas to Sedona is about 275 miles. Take I-515/ US 93 east towards Hoover Dam. Continue on US 93 towards Kingman, AZ. Turn left onto US 93/I-40. Proceed east on Interstate 40 (I-40) to Flagstaff, AZ (145 miles). Take Interstate 17 south about 3 miles and exit at Airport Road to Highway 89A. Continue south on US 89A through the Ponderosa Pine Forest and through Oak Creek Canyon into Sedona, AZ
From Sedona to the Grand Canyon (South Rim): The driving distance from Sedaon to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is 114.3 miles. the trip takes about 2 hours. Take SR-89A north 24.4 Miles. Turn right onto W. Shamrell Boulevard 0.2 Miles. Take Ramp (Left) onto 1-17 North 2.7 Miles. Take Ramp onto 1-40 West via Exit 340B 29.6 Miles. At Exit 165, exit Ramp 0.4 Miles. Turn Right (North) on SR-64 and continue to Grand Canyon 57 Miles.
FLYING TO SEDONA
The airport in Sedona does not offer any commerical flights. It does have carter flights that fly in and out. Most guests flying to Sedona chse to fly into Flagstaff Pullim Airport, or into Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport. They will then rent a car and make the final drive to Sedona.
